Acoustic Knock Sensor

Acoustic knock sensors are used to listen for specific engine noise known as “knock”. These sensors provide feedback to the ECU in order to combat detonation. The use of these sensors not only increase engine safety but also enhances performance when used in conjunction with Adaptive Knock control strategy.
