The close association between Mugen and Honda dates back to the 1970’s when the son of the Honda founder incorporated the company in order to tune and race Honda vehicles in series such as Super GT, Formula 3000 and Formula 1, amongst other activities.
The name Mugen can be translated into English, meaning “unlimited”.
This strong relationship and enormous technical resources enables the company to produce aftermarket tuning and aero parts for most Honda vehicles, the latest being the Civic Type R FK8!
